Heather C
Heather and her family were born and raised in east Texas, where she is an assistant principal. Her husband teaches high school chemistry and her daughters are in sixth and first grades. They love to travel to new places as a family. While they don’t miss the must-see sights, they actively seek out the unique spots that don’t attract most tourists. They document their travels with hundreds (ok, sometimes thousands!) of pictures, as well as personal journals and scrapbooks.
Heather has a split travel personality. She’s a planner who has to know where she’s spending the night. However, her family never travels (by car) more than about six hours at a time because they are wanderers. They seek out interesting sights to stop and explore, like landmarks, national parks, and museums. They tend to pack way too much into their days because the world is full of surprises and hidden treasures, and they don’t want to miss a thing.
