Belonging to the rare breed known as native Floridian, Mary Ellen is a wife, mother and freelance writer, currently living in Sarasota, on Florida's beautiful Gulf Coast. The youngest of 11 children, Mary Ellen has always had a passion for expression and a way with words!

Happily married for over 15 years, Mary Ellen is a mother to her two fun-loving daughters, ages 13 and 11 and her high-spirited, 18 year-old step-son. When she's not busy being a writer, wife and mother, she enjoys golfing, shopping, going to the beach and most of all, traveling. Whether strolling through the streets of New York City at Christmas, relaxing on a quiet Jamaican beach, finding adventure in the great outdoors or conquering the crowds at Florida theme parks, the Mancini clan is always ready for action!
