Kid Friendly Beach Resort – Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort & Spa
My family recently took a trip to San Diego and Carlsbad for my daughter’s Girl Scout overnight at SeaWorld. The girls sold thousands of cookies so they could sleep in the chilly penguin encounter and ride Manta too many times to count. We had an amazing experience, but all I could think about was taking a shower and relaxing. I could not wait to get up to Carlsbad to visit a new kid friendly beach resort with my family. We made the right choice to stay at the new Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort & Spa.
Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The nicest front desk clerk talked to my daughter about activities and surrounding attractions as I just tried to shove more of my fish smelling hair in to my hat. I was so glad everything was being taken care of!
Our room had a spacious balcony that overlooked the ocean and pool area. It was a beautiful place to relax and take it all in. The room was modern and comfy. I looked longingly at the comfortable beds, but most moms know relaxing is never first on the list. Off to the pool we went. The pools are heated, have zero depth entry are surrounded by fire pits. There was music playing and families were having fun. It was perfect relaxation to me.
One of my favorite features of the resort is Chandler’s restaurant. I highly recommend the breakfast. My son loved the fresh squeezed apple juice and my daughter loved the homemade granola and the carrot oat muffins. There were many different options available all to enjoy while overlooking the ocean.
Beach access is right across the street. The resort is minutes from Legoland, golf and lots of shopping. My biggest regret was not making time for the spa. The list of services was expansive and from what I could see they had every amenity that you could ask for. Legoland was on our agenda, so the spa had to wait for next time. The Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort & Spa is the perfect place to please everyone in your family and don’t forget to check all of the promotions they currently are running!
